Step-by-Step Guide to Farm Yala Testnet Airdrop

• Visit the official Yala Testnet website: https://app-testnet.yala.org?inviteCode=aFOElYrxxK
• Optionally, use an invite code if you have one (e.g., codes like aFOElYrxxK have been shared in guides) to earn bonus Berries.

 

• Connect your Bitcoin wallet (e.g., Unisat or OKX) and your EVM wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to the Yala Testnet app.
• Sign any required transactions to link your wallets. Connecting both wallets may earn you 10 Berries as an initial reward.

 

• Bitcoin Testnet Funds (tBTC):
  • On the Yala Testnet app, locate the “Faucet” option (usually in the top-right corner).

  • Request an amount between 0.01 and 0.05 tBTC and submit. Note that it may take minutes to hours for the funds to arrive due to network confirmation times.
• Sepolia ETH:
  • Obtain Sepolia ETH from external faucets such as:

• Ensure your MetaMask is set to the Sepolia Testnet network to receive and use these funds.

 

• Navigate to the “MetaMint YU” tab on the Yala Testnet app.
• Enter the amount of tBTC you want to deposit (e.g., 0.001 BTC or more).
• Specify the amount of $YU stablecoin you wish to mint. The interface may show a slider to adjust the collateralization ratio to avoid liquidation risk.
• Approve the transaction and click “Create Vault” to deposit your tBTC and mint $YU.
• Reward: For every 0.001 BTC deposited, you earn 1 Berry per hour. For every 1 $YU minted, you earn 0.05 Berries per hour.

 

• Go to the “Portfolio” tab on the Yala Testnet app.
• Select “Stake YU” and enter the amount of $YU you want to stake.
• Confirm the staking transaction.
• Reward: For every 1 $YU staked, you earn 0.01 Berries per hour.
