The price of Shiba Inu has risen more than 25% in the last 24 hours, well ahead of the rest of the cryptocurrency market.
The meme token has now outperformed Avalanche and is now close to flipping rival Dogecoin again.
The Kronos DAO token, KRNO, serves as a replacement for stablecoins.
Kronos DAO is a fork of Olympus DAO with a higher APY.
Kronos DAO is the first decentralized reserve currency protocol built on the Klaytn blockchain based on the KRNO token. KRNO is not a stabelcoin. Because the protocol controls the funds in its treasury, KRNO can only be minted or burned by the protocol. This ensures that the protocol can always support 1 KRNO with 1 KDAI. In this way, you can easily determine the risk of your investment, as you can be sure that the protocol will indefinitely buy KRNO at a price below 1 KDAI at the expense of the treasury until there is no one left to sell.
Kronos DAO operates using two key concepts: stacking and minting. Stacking is putting your money into a staking contract and receiving interest, which automatically accrues. Minting is the purchase of a native KRNO token directly from the protocol in exchange for discounted KRNO tokens.
APY stands for annual percentage yield. The APY is that your balance will grow exponentially over time, not linearly! Assuming a daily compound interest of 2%, if you start with a balance of 1 KRNO on the first day, your balance will grow to about 1,377 after a year. Right now the APY is 5,090,329.8%! While current APY of Olympus DAO is 7,013%. Here’s an interesting feature called “Hourglass” that allows you to estimate your future earnings easier than calculating the APY. To buy a KRNO token to get started, go to Klayswap and change KLAY to KRNO.
